Worcestershire Arts Partnership welcomes new Chair

The Worcestershire Arts Partnership (WAP) is delighted to announce that Anne Hannaford will be the new Chair of The Worcestershire Arts Partnership.

Anne, who is Director of Arts and Culture at The University of Worcester is the second Chair of WAP. 


Anne Hannaford, the new Chair of The Worcestershire Arts Partnership, said: “Worcestershire Arts Partnership brings together professional artists and performers, people working in education and health, and those in the community who love creative arts. Working with Worcestershire County Council and other key organisations, the Partnership has developed a new County Arts Strategy '1000 Days’.  I’m thrilled to be able to work on its implementation with so many talented people."


The Worcestershire Arts Partnership is a non-constituted body of artists, arts organisations and arts stake-holders who have responsibility for implementing the new County Arts Strategy '1000 Days'.


Steve Wilson, County Arts Officer, said: 'I am delighted that Anne will be our new Chair and  look forward to working with her on what will be an exciting and challenging period for the arts in Worcestershire."
