We are pleased to announce that the Hartlebury Castle Preservation Trust has been awarded £5m by the Heritage Lottery Fund to purchase Hartlebury Castle and to ensure Hartlebury’s long term future as a heritage asset for the nation.
Restoration work to the Castle is scheduled to begin in 2016 and be completed in 2017. Where building work allows the Trust will be operating behind the scenes tours of the Castle, including the Hurd Library, the Prince’s Bedroom, Chapel and gardens not previously open to the public.
For more information or to find out how you can help please visit the Hartlebury Castle Trust website.
The County Museum will remain open throughout the restoration project.
