MECC skills training for Local Authority, Primary Care, Voluntary and Community Sectors and others


Read this information should you complete MECC e-learning only or e-learning and face to face skills training to find out more about the learning aims, objectives and audience for the MECC training.

MECC Skills Face to Face training

To book a place on the MECC Skills training contact the Public Health Admin team, please note MECC e-learning is a pre-requisite to attending the MECC Skills training

Please note:

  • staff who have attended Health Chats/ MECC training over 3 years ago and have completed the e-learning as a refresher but still don't feel confident having healthy lifestyle conversations are encouraged to repeat the Face to Face skills training
  • staff who have attended Health Chats/ MECC training under 3 years ago and have completed the e-learning as a refresher but still don't feel confident having healthy lifestyle conversations should contact us by email to discuss further support we can offer

There are a maximum of 15 places per course,please send your e-learning certificate to HWBAdmin@worcestershire.gov.uk  to book a place.
