Worcestershire Children and Young People's Plan Survey Results
To inform the development of this new plan a range of consultation methods were set in motion to ensure maximum engagement with all interested parties and importantly with children and young people themselves. Five key questions were asked from five different perspectives - those of a child, young person, parent/carer, practitioner or other interested citizen.
Over 2,590 responses were received providing a rich source of information about the challenges facing children and young people and how their lives could be improved.
Worcestershire's Children and Young People's Plan has partnered with West Mercia Police for cyberbullying campaign: #BeCyberSmart
West Mercia Police is working with a number of national charities, schools, professionals and other partners to share information about cyberbullying and online harassment. This campaign has clear links with the Children and Young People's Plan priorities. West Mercia Police have created a number of resources which offer information on support and guidance young people (and their families) need to tackle online abuse, which can have a serious impact on those involved.
