Go On Worcestershire - Helping you gain the skills and confidence to go Online

Worcestershire County Council in partnership with 29 other organisations formed Go On Worcestershire in November 2014 to ensure as many people as possible have the opportunity and support to confidently go online. We have Digital Connectors and many volunteer Digital Champions across the County providing one to one support as well as group sessions to help people in Worcestershire gain skills they need to make most of the internet.

There are many benefits to using the internet, here are just some of them:

  • find work
  • find information
  • be entertained with videos, games and music
  • stay in touch with friends and family
  • explore your interests
  • save time and money

We have many places to access free or low-cost internet: Google Maps - Check out where to get support to get online (opens in new window).

Our handbook has all the key information about using the internet safely, organisations that provide basic digital skills training, affordable laptops, computers and connection, support and products that remove barriers for those with disabilities.
