Service Level Agreement and Charges

The Schools' Library Service can offer your school a wide range of up-to-date resources to support children's learning across the curriculum

We can also provide access to exciting reading material to encourage all pupils to enjoy reading.

As books cost so much to purchase, by borrowing from Schools' Library Service, you can have items you need for when you need them, returning them when you don't, and requesting new titles the next time.

For example a typical primary school can spend £2,833 with Schools' Library Service, yet receive £15,014 worth of book stock.

Value for Money Statement

A typical seven class school would be charged £3,013 for full service, but requesting 2 non fiction and 1 fiction resource boxes per teacher per term, and borrowing 50 books per class would benefit from £15,641 of resources across the age range and from different publishers and series. Alternatively a menu service for specific aspects can be purchased.

Please contact slslib@worcestershire.gov.uk or 01905 420273 for details for your school.
