A £120 million business park that has the potential to create over 5,000 new jobs and give Worcestershire's economy a major boost, has taken a step closer, with the completion of vital highway improvements, to Pershore Lane and Plough Lane roundabout, Worcester, near junction 6 of the M5.
Worcester Six Business Park has been identified within Worcestershire's Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) as one of the county's "game changer" sites – key employment sites seen as important in driving the county's future economic prosperity.
With funding from the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership's "Local Growth Deal", Worcestershire County Council is working in partnership with leading Birmingham – based commercial property developer Stoford. Construction on the 1st phase of buildings is now underway, with private sector investment from Liberty Property Trust. Worcester Six Business Park will provide up to 1.5m sq ft of accommodation in a range of units, when fully developed.
