Countryside Site Work Party Volunteering

The Countryside Service has volunteer opportunities at Worcester Woods and Waseley Hills Country Parks, as well as Hartlebury Common, St Wulstan's Local Nature Reserve and Ankerdine Common.

Volunteers working with the Countryside Service staff have the opportunity to meet new people, get fresh air and exercise, learn new skills such as coppicing, hedgelaying, orchard restoration and willow weaving, whilst making a contribution to the management of the parks, so enhancing the environment of the local area.

Worcester Woods Country Park Volunteer Group

Waseley Hills Country Park Volunteer Group

Every Wednesday, 9.30am to 4pm. For more details contact George Hammonds or Matt Royle on 01562 710025.

Hartlebury Common Volunteer Group

Newcomers Welcome. All tools and training will be provided; just bring stout footwear and outdoor clothing. There will be tasks available to suit all abilities. Under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Tasks may change due to the weather or management requirements.

Hot and Cold drinks and biscuits will be provided.

St Wulstan's Local Nature Reserve Volunteer Group

Meet at the car park on site at 10am on the day.
