If you have reason to believe that a child or young person is at immediate risk from harm contact the Police on 999 or the Worcestershire Hub on 0845 607 2000 (Calls to this number will cost 5 pence per minute plus your phone company's access charge).
For assistance out of office hours (5:00pm to 8:00 am weekdays and all day at weekends and bank holidays) please contact the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) on 01905 768020.
If you have any concerns about a particular child or young person and feel that they may be in need of protection or safeguarding, then please contact the Access Centre to make a referral to Children's Social Care. Read more about making referrals including links to the Threshold Guidance.
About the Safeguarding Children Board
The board has a wide range of responsibilities, including the development and review of procedures to protect children; the provision of training for staff and volunteers who work with children; reviewing the death of all children to find out what lessons can be learnt to safeguard other children and raising public awareness of safeguarding.
