Minerals and Waste Development Framework Authority Monitoring Report

An Authority Monitoring Report (AMR) is produced by the council every year. Its purpose is to assess the effectiveness of the Council's planning policies. It monitors:

  • Progress in preparing Local Development Documents that form part of the Minerals and Waste Development Framework
  • The extent to which existing minerals and waste policies are being implemented and whether the effects of the policies are as intended.

The Authority Monitoring Report is a statutory requirement and is published every December.

The Local Aggregates Assessment is produced annually and published alongside Authority Monitoring Report.
