An Authority Monitoring Report (AMR) is produced by the council every year. Its purpose is to assess the effectiveness of the Council's planning policies. It monitors:
- Progress in preparing Local Development Documents that form part of the Minerals and Waste Development Framework
- The extent to which existing minerals and waste policies are being implemented and whether the effects of the policies are as intended.
The Authority Monitoring Report is a statutory requirement and is published every December.
The Local Aggregates Assessment is produced annually and published alongside Authority Monitoring Report.
Waste Sites Survey 2017
Worcestershire County Council has contacted all waste operators in Worcestershire to update the information we hold about throughput and capacity of waste management sites across the county. The information is being collected for use in the Authority Monitoring Report. Making sure we have up to date information is really important because it helps us to understand how waste is managed in the County and to identify areas where there might be shortfall in capacity that we need to plan for in the future.
Information will only be presented as an aggregated figure alongside other operations so that commercial confidentiality can be maintained. By providing this information you agree to your responses being collated, processed and analysed by Worcestershire County Council.
