For a map of how to get to the Library

Malvern Library is a purpose-built Edwardian building with later additions on a prominent site in Great Malvern town centre. The extended and modernised premises incorporate a Council Service Centre, which is part of the Worcestershire Hub e-government initiative and which gives one stop access to all County and District Council services. Other facilities include a Quick Choice zone, comfortable seating, a designated Teenage Section with a computer gaming facility, a cafe (open Monday - Saturday from 9.30am - 5.00pm), a meeting room with up-to-the-minute presentation facilities, self issue stations and a gallery area. The exhibition programme is detailed below.

Other Services Available

Mobile Library Service

This serves the outskirts of Malvern and rural areas in the Malvern Hills District. View the Mobile Library Service webpage, which lists the dates and locations of all the mobile libraries serving rural Worcestershire.

Housebound Readers Service

This is a home delivery service to people who are unable to visit the library themselves, and who have no-one else to do so on their behalf.

Children's Activities

Storytimes for pre-school children are held in the Children's Library every WEDNESDAY, from 2.15 to 2.45pm.
For details of our other regular activities for children follow this link, where you can also view children's holiday activities taking place at Malvern Library.

Malvern Readers Group

The Group is open to everyone who enjoys talking, in an informal way, about the books they have read. By following a set programme, compiled annually by the Group, it is hoped that individual members will be tempted to try authors or types of book they may not have read before, rediscover old favourites and increase their enjoyment and appreciation of what they have read through informal discussion with others in the Group.  Meetings take place on the 3rd Thursday in every month (except December) at the Library, starting at 7.00p.m.
