Work Experience Opportunities

Do you want to make a real difference to your environment and work with others to make it happen?

Bishops Wood Centre is offering volunteer placements for young people with a passion for the environment and am interest in education. With the generous support of National Grid and V you could spend 6 months learning how to teach kids about the world around them, experiencing a range of approaches to environmental education, dress up as a Saxon or Viking, train as a Forest School Leader and develop a range of practical skills.

  • 2 placements for 16-25 year olds
  • 6 month post starting September 2008
  • 30 hours a week
  • Living, travel and other expenses paid up to a maximum of £100 per week
  • Forest School Assistant Leader Qualification
  • A great experience
