Training for Positive Environmental Change

The centre, provides a stimulating, high quality environment for training with excellent indoor facilities and access to a number of habitats including oak woodland, meadows and a number of experimental environmental buildings.

The programme of intensive short courses offered by the centre:

Are run by trainers who are experts in their own fields.

Will help you gain skills, knowledge and understanding that can be applied to your work, and often your home life!

Will introduce the latest thoughts and practice in the subject(s) within in each course.

Support NVQ's and professional development (CPD) in the field of environmental training. The courses will also support CPD in the workplace of environmental workers.

All the courses are aimed at environmental professionals or those with a deep interest in environmental issues. Most of the courses concentrate on how education and community development practise can help practitioners involve communities in sustainable development.

You will see from the programme that all the courses are between one and three days. Accommodation is in either local high quality bed and breakfasts or camping at Bishops Wood, either in your own tent or a tipi!
