Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th October 2008 - 'Tenbury Wells & Teme Valley Walking Weekend'

The Tenbury Wells & Teme Valley Walking Weekend will once again be taking place with a programme of six free individually themed guided walks in and around Tenbury Wells 'The Town in the Orchard'.

PLUS - The Tenbury Apple Fest will also be taking place on Saturday 18th October with over 200 varieties of fruit on display, street entertainment, music stage, arts market and film festival.

Every Monday lunchtime at 1pm - 'Worcester Woods Health Walk Group'

Free 30 minute lunchtime walks led by trained health walk leaders take place every Monday (except Bank Holidays) around Worcester Woods and the County Hall and Royal Hospital grounds.  Meet outside the Orchard Cafe and please wear suitable clothing and footwear.  Walking the Way to Health is a national initiative encouraging people to walk more for health gain.  More information on the benefits to health of walking more may be found at www.whi.org.uk
