Worcester Archive Source Project

Five hundred years of documents relating to all aspects of Worcester life are being made accessible thanks to HLF funding. Two dedicated staff are working on WASP and will complete the project to coincide with the opening of the new Library and History Centre in 2011. We will produce an online catalogue of the archive, exhibitions and educational resources, most of which will support the national curriculum.

We are working with the University of Worcester, Worcester City Council, and the City and County Archaeology Services to give as many people as possible access to this fantastic archive collection.

Worcester Archive Source Project is offically launched Worcestershire County Council s Record Office will officially launch the Worcester Archive Source Project this week.
	County Council introduce the Bishop to the Record Office The newly appointed Bishop of Worcester, Dr John Inge, visited Worcestershire County Council s County Hall Record Office last month to find out more about the diocesan archives.
