An important feature of the Freedom of Information Act is the requirement for each public authority to produce a publication scheme. This sets out what information will be made routinely available to the public, how the public can access that information and whether the information will be available free of charge or on payment. The aim is to enable you to have easy access to the information you require.
We have divided our guide into seven broad categories. You can search for information within these categories by using the facility at the bottom of this page. For a more detailed view of what kind of information you can expect to find on the scheme, you can consult the Information Commissioner's guidelines.
Most of the information included in the scheme is accessible through our website. Information that is not available online can be obtained via the contact details provided.
We are committed to providing most of the information on the scheme free of charge. However, there may be cases where the information is a commercial publication or is subject to a statutory charging regime. In cases where hard copies of documents are said to incur a charge, the cost will normally be calculated according to the table on the Schedule of Charges page.
We also provide a comprehensive A-Z listing of our services that you may use to locate the information you are searching for.
If you cannot find what you are looking for, please submit a Freedom of Information request.
Please note that requests for information in relation to yourself are made under the Data Protection Act.
