Cycling forums

There are currently four cycle forums across Worcestershire, covering the Wyre Forest, Worcester and the surrounding area, and  Malvern.  They aim to focus on the opinions of local people in implementing Worcestershire County Council’s cycling strategy.  The council wants to address issues of travel that have an impact on the way that  people live and believe cycling has a part to play in this.

The groups are made up of a wide range of people, including both novice and experienced cyclists, council officers and other groups with an interest in cycling.  If you are interested in attending one of these forums, email us or call 01905 766085 for details.

South Worcestershire Cycling Group

The Worcester forum has reformed as the South Worcestershire Cycling Group. They aim to cover cycling issues across South Worcestershire including Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern and Pershore. For further information please contact Derek Skinner.

Wyre Forest

The Wyre Forest Forum was formed in 1998 to promote cycling within the area.  Membership of the forum has dramatically grown in recent years in line with the popularity of cycling as a mode of transport.

Malvern

'Cycle Malvern' meet to discuss both local cycling issues as well as going for bike rides around the local area.  For more details please visit their website www.cyclemalvern.wordpress.com

If you are interested in attending any of the above forums, email us or call 01905 766085 for details.
