The Worcestershire Tithe and Inclosure Map Project run by the Archaeology unit at Worcestershire County Council is a project being run to digitise all 18th and 19th Century Cadastral maps and will be of use to anyone who is interested in the historic landscape of Worcestershire. The original documents, held at Worcester records office, are often fragile and difficult to interpret and this project aims to increase the accessibility of the data and the ease of understanding it. The digistised Tithe, Enclosure and Estate maps enable users to search data either through the geographical extent of a Tithe, district or parish. In addition searches can be performed for a particular owner, tenant, land-use or place name. Click to access the Tithe Maps.
