The current funding arrangements are due to end on 31st May 2010.    During the past 12 months the Council has undertaken a strategic review of Carers Services. The review has recognised the need for this service to be enhanced and expanded to provide a countywide service.   The Council and NHS Worcestershire therefore wish to procure a countywide service for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend this for a further year, dependant on review and performance of the service, from 1st June 2010.
