Traffic management arrangements for the Household Recycling Centre on Bilford Road

All traffic wishing to access the Household Recycling Centre on Bilford Road, Worcester will be directed by traffic management staff to join a queueing system using Perdiswell Leisure Centre car park.

There will be no direct access off Bilford Road to the site as per usual arrangements.

Staff will then allow traffic from the car park across to the HRC in small batches whilst through traffic is held on Bilford Road. Please follow the instructions of the staff on site.

 


 

Monday to Saturday 08:00 - 18:00
Sunday 10:00 - 16:00
  • Sites usually open on Mondays will be open on Bank Holiday Mondays, except for Hallow Road, Worcester West.
  • All sites are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.

Please be advised that sites close promptly at the time(s) stated above. For your convenience it is advised that you aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the site closes to allow time to unload.

  • Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear (no open toe footwear)
  • Use gloves when handling your waste particularly sharp or heavy items

Green Waste & Compost

Please be advised that green waste bigger than 2 metres in length, and 100mm in diameter can not be accepted on compactor sites as indicated above.

You can buy Green Grow soil conditioner made from your composted green waste at a cost of £2 per bag (Cash Only).
