PARENTS/CARERS
- WELCOME
If
you are worried that your child, a relative or a family
member might be using drugs, it is important to
know where to go to for help and sound, non-judgemental
advice.
Many of the signs seen in young people such as
mood swings, changes in eating and sleeping habits
and poor
skin can also be part of the growing up process.
Equally,
with our busy, often very stressful lifestyles many
adults can also suffer from erratic behaviour, moods
and changes in physical appearance.
Although it is natural
to worry, it is important not to panic if you think
someone close to you could be using
drugs. We hope that you find the information on this
section of the site helpful.
If there are any areas you
think that we could improve, or you have any suggestions
for information you think
should be included, then please get
in touch
DAAT has produced a new leaflet called Understanding
Drug Services in Worcestershire - a Guide for Families,
which gives helpful advice on what to expect from treatment
services, and how to get support for yourself as a family
member.
