Worcestershire County Council is offering Worcester residents over the age of 18 the opportunity to borrow a bike to see whether they prefer two wheels to four.
Cycling saves money, saves time and will help you work towards a healthy lifestyle. Cycling around Worcester is often quicker then using a car during peak journey times and you won’t have to worry about finding a parking space or change for the parking machine.
The bikes supplied are modern hybrid bikes in a variety of styles and sizes that are fitted with a pannier rack, mudguards, lock, lights and accessories. The bikes chosen for this scheme are comfortable, practical and have plenty of gears... perfect for whizzing around town or commuting to work.
You can borrow a bike for a period of six months after providing a refundable deposit of £75, photo ID and a proof of address such as a utility bill. Your deposit will be refunded when the bike is returned.
To book your bike or for further information please contact Motov8 on 01905 619068 or email enquiries@motov8.org.uk. The first 50 people to join the scheme will receive a FREE cycle helmet.
