Workforce and Practice Development

The Workforce and Practice Development Service is part of the Children’s Services Directorate, based in County Hall, Worcester.

We provide a range of learning and development opportunities for the Children and Young People's Workforce including training opportunities for the Common Assessment Framework as part of Early Help.

The aims of our service Include:

  1. Support the workforce to meet the needs and aspirations of children, young people and their families in Worcestershire.
  2. Ensuring a range of learning and development opportunities are available to support and enhance skills and knowledge.
  3. Ensuring colleagues are brought together to learn together whenever appropriate to do so.
