December 2011 - Worcestershire Youth Music (WYM) Concert Season

During December, Worcestershire Youth Music's central orchestras and bands have been performing in a series of concerts that were open to the public.

Saturday, December 3
Worcestershire Youth Orchestra
Venue: St Martin's Church, Worcester at 7pm

Sunday, December 4
Worcestershire Intermediate
Venue: Kidderminster Town Hall at 7pm

Saturday, December 10
Worcestershire Intermediate Wind Orchestra and Worcestershire Intermediate Brass Band
Venue: St Martin’s Church, London Road, Worcester at 7pm

Sunday, December 11
Worcestershire Youth Wind Orchestra and Worcestershire Youth Brass Band
Venue: Kidderminster Town Hall at 7pm

November 2011 - Wychavon Festival of Brass Youth Event

On Sunday, November 6, more than 80 young brass players took part in the 9th annual Wychavon Festival of Brass Youth Project at Evesham High School. Led by Nicky Daw, WYM Head of Brass and Percussion and musical director for Worcestershire Youth Brass Band, the young musicians played a selection of music that was chosen to challenge and expand their skills.

Members who attended this event can claim their free CD of the concert by contacting Nicky Daw or the Worcestershire Youth Music office.

April 2011 - Concert Souvenir DVD on Sale

Following the Worcestershire Youth Wind Orchestra and Intermediate Orchestra Spring Concert, a souvenir DVD will be available at a cost of £10.
