Worcestershire County Council is committed to developing,
encouraging and supporting volunteer involvement in our work. We
believe that our relationship with volunteers is one of mutual
responsibility, commitment and respect.
There are also many other volunteering opportunities in
Worcestershire, beyond the County Council. Volunteering your skills
and – the most precious resource of all – your time can be a huge
benefit to VCS groups and to the people who rely on their services.
At the same time, being a volunteer can be a very satisfying
experience, it can help you to learn new skills and it can provide
the chance to do something you really care about.
For more information about the whole range of volunteering
opportunities that are available within Worcestershire, please
contact your local volunteer centre.
Also the Worcestershire Compact has a developed code of practice
on volunteering please follow the link below for more
information:
If you would like to advertise volunteering opportunities within
your own organisation please let us know, we can advertise this
internally to staff at county hall and on our web pages. Please
contact the VCS Unit on 01905 766885 or email sjones12@worcestershire.gov.uk
