Funding
In addition to the VCS grants there is also support for VCS
organisations in the county to identify alternative funding
opportunities for their organisation. Below are details of
resources available to you to identify funding and support you in
completing applications. In addition we will also endeavour
to keep this page updated with any details of funding
available throughout the year.
Worcestershire Infrastructure
Consortium (WIC)
The Worcestershire Infrastructure Consortium often referred to
as 'WIC' is made up of 12 organisations including the
volunteering networks for each of the districts in the county. The
aim of the consortium is "to make sure that all VCS organisations
in Worcestershire can access the support and services they need to
achieve their aims." As a result WIC offer support to groups
to identify suitable funding opportunities and help in writing
applications. If you would like to know more you can visit the
website www.winc.org.uk or contact
Hasnah Sheriff @ hasnahs@comfirst.org.uk
Grant Funder Finder
The grant
funder finder is free online resource which enables you to
search through a variety of funding streams to try and identify
what opportunities are suitable for you.
Worcestershire Partnership Funding Desk
The Funding Desk is a resource managed by the Funding and
Resource Manager for the Worcestershire Partnership, Peter
Mackenzie-Shaw (01905 728738) . This is a dedicated
resource committed to providing organisations in Worcestershire
with relevant, useful and accurate information on external funding
streams (funding through trusts and grant-giving
organisations).
The services provided by the Funding Desk have been specifically
designed and tailored to assist organisations who in some way
support the delivery of Worcestershire's Local Area Agreement. The
work of the VCS is often crucial in delivery against the Local Area
Agreement therefore this is a useful resource.
