Voluntary & Community Sector

At Worcestershire County Council we recognise the vital work of individuals and organisations in the VCS who deliver valuable services to local communities (and are often better placed to do so than the County Council itself).

Pre-tendering Workshop

Are you interested in delivering services for the Council?  Would you like to gain an understanding of how to apply?  If so then you may be interested in coming along to a 'Pre-Tendering Workshop' we are providing on Tuesday 21 May from 9.30 -12.30 at Warndon Community Centre in Worcester. The workshop will be facilitated by County Council staff including a Lead Commissioner and Senior Contracts Officer.

The aim of the workshop is to provide an introduction to the eTendering Portal for Worcestershire County Council and help organisations develop their skills in the following areas:

  • Registering with the eTendering Portal
  • Understanding the documentation involved
  • How to structure a tender
  • Key points to consider
  • Understanding Social Value
  • Evaluation process

If you would like to book a place please email Gail Wills – gwills@worcestershire.gov.uk by Friday 10 May.  An agenda and directions to the venue will be forwarded to delegates nearer the time.

The event will be informative and interactive with a focus on helping you develop your skills and confidence for the future.
