Upton Bridge Colour Scheme 
Have your say until September 9, 2011 Worcestershire County
Council is offering residents the chance to play their part in
choosing the new colour scheme for Upton-upon-Severn's bridge.
Residents are encouraged to make their
choice over the next six weeks from August 1 until noon on
September 9, 2011. Images of the five options available,
chosen to reflect the historic nature of the town, can be seen
below.

How can I get Involved?
Getting involved and
submitting your view is easy. Residents can let us know their
preferences by simply filling in the Upton
Bridge Colour Scheme online response form.
Hard-copy leaflets containing the
relevant information and preference form are also available at
various venues across the town. Those forms can be dropped off at
collection boxes at either the Town Hall, the Tourist Information
Centre, the White Lion Hotel, Regal Garage or Severn Leisure
Cruises.

Alternatively, they can be posted to
Worcestershire County Council, County Hall, H1 Pavilion,
Consultation, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP.
Those interested can help spread the
word about this process by displaying one of the posters
promoting the exercise until September.

What Happens Next?
The results will be evaluated and
recommendations will be made to the Worcestershire County Council
Project Team for a decision to be taken. The outcomes of this,
along with a summary of the responses will be published here
shortly after the consultation has ended.
Painting of the bridge is due to start
in late September and is planned to finish before Christmas.
