Bewdley Public Realm Improvements and Air Quality Management Area Scheme

As part of the third Worcestershire Local Transport Plan (LTP3), improvements to Bewdley have been prioritised.

• As a result, the street lighting in Load Street has already been upgraded and works to renew the footways in the same area are about to start on 28 January 2013, for approximately 8 weeks
• The footways and kerbs will be renewed between the Angel PH and George Hotel on the northside and between No. 1 and No. 15 HSBC Bank on the southside. The new paving will be Tegula blocks, to match the existing paving on the Severn side
• At the same time, there will be some Bridge repairs undertaken (programmed to start w/c 28 January 2013, for approximately two weeks). These works are to replace the bridge parapet at Beale's corner. The works will be done under one-way traffic lights.
