Certificate Fees and Services

From the Registrar who registered the birth, death or marriage at the time of registration:

Standard Certificate    £3.50

Short Birth Certificate £3.50 (One short certificate is issued free of charge at the time of registering the birth)

Certificates are available from the Registrar at the above fee only at the time of registration, subsequent certificates from the Registrars register will incur a fee of £7.00. Once a register is filled it is passed to the Superintendent Registrar and certificates are no longer available from the Registrar.

From the Superintendent Registrar:

Standard Certificate  £9.00

From the Clergyman, Authorised Person, Secretary (for Marriages) of a Synagogue or Registering Officer of the Society of Friends who registered the marriage:
