Climate Change

The Worcestershire Partnership's Sustainable
Community Strategy outlines the county's commitment to protect
our environment. This commitment is delivered through two
adopted climate change indicators as part of the Local Area
Agreement 2008-11. Despite the changes to the LAA nationally,
Worcestershire remains committed to tackling climate change.
The Worcestershire Climate
Change Strategy
(1MB) outlines how Worcestershire organisations will work
in partnership towards these agreed National Indicator targets
by raising awareness, reducing carbon emissions and planning to
adapt to climate change.
The condition of Worcesteshire's environment is monitored and
a State
of the Environment report is produced annually by
the Worcestershire Partnership.
