Developing Our Practice

There is a comprehensive review taking place of the paperwork required for applying for Statutory Assessment, as well as that for reviewing a Statement of SEN. In addition, development work is taking place regarding the format and content of Statements of SEN.

It is hoped that these changes will be piloted during the new academic year. Consequently, some of the leaflets/guidance documents referred to below are referred to as being “in preparation”.

The information is in various formats, and from various sources:

  • Information Leaflets, which have either been produced by SEN Services, or in conjunction with Parent Partnership, all of which are downloadable and can be printed off
  • Forms needed for Statutory Assessment, along with criteria and guidance, which can all be downloaded

New forms and guidance to cover Annual Reviews and Transition Reviews are in preparation.
