Safeguarding Adults
Serious Case Reviews
A Serious Case Review is held when an adult at risk adult dies
and abuse or neglect is suspected to be a factor in their death.
The aim of a Serious Case Review is for all agencies to learn
lessons about the way they safeguard adults at risk and
prevent such tragedies happening in the future.
