CHOICE Project
University of Worcester: An opportunity to participate in
national research
The Association for Dementia Studies at the
University of Worcester is looking for care homes to participate in
a national research project, funded by the Department of Health and
Comic Relief.
The aim of the CHOICE project is to examine
the links between organisational cultures and the care experiences
of older people living in residential and nursing care. The
research project involves in-depth case studies of 12 care homes
across the UK and the Association of Dementia Studies is currently
recruiting homes in and around Worcestershire. Findings from the
study will increase knowledge about the role of organisational
culture in ensuring good care, and provide information and
resources to support care providers in reflecting on and
implementing positive cultures of care.
