Welcome to the Worcestershire Joint Team

Worcestershire Joint Team is a service delivered by partnership
working between, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Pensions
Service, Worcestershire County Council and the 6 District Councils,
to the older people of Worcestershire.
The Joint Team provides a holistic financial and benefit welfare
visit to our customers.
Help and Advice
The Team can provide help and advise on a number of subjects,
some of which are listed below:
- Winter Fuel Payments
- Attendance Allowance
- Pension Credit
- Social Fund
- Age-Related Payments
- Disability Living Allowance
- Carer's Allowance
- Housing Benefit
- Council Tax Benefit
- Bereavement Benefit
- Support for dental treatment, prescription charges, eyesight
tests and other NHS charges
- Undertakes Fairer Charging Financial Assessments
The Aim of the Service
The aim of this service is to ensure that customers receive the
money that they are entitled to.
Are you / your customer eligible for a Joint team referral?
Do you / your customer meet the following criteria:
- A resident of Worcestershire
- Aged 60 years or above
- Enquiring about financial or benefit entitlements
- Consent to having a home visit
