The Blue Badge Parking Scheme
The Blue Badge scheme (parking badges for
disabled people) provides parking concessions both nationally and
in Europe, for people with a permanent and substantial disability,
whether the person is the driver or the passenger.

provide information about using and displaying a Blue Badge
correctly in England and Wales.
Apply for a Blue
The Blue Badge scheme is for drivers or passengers with severe
mobility problems. The scheme allows Blue Badge holders to park
close to where they need to go. The scheme does not apply to

Renewing a Blue Badge
If you are a current Blue Badge holder and your badge is due to
expire, you will need to complete a new application. This will need
to be submitted to continue to receive the benefits of the scheme.
Reapplying or renewing a badge is easy and can be done online at
any time at www.gov.uk/apply-blue-badge
by completing the application form, please note that as part of a
renewal application the information provided will be assessed by
our administration team, and in some circumstances we may need to
contact customers to ask for further evidence to be provided to
support their application.
The cost of a Blue Badge in Worcestershire is now £10.
