Shared Lives Scheme Services

These are the services offered through the Shared Lives scheme, you can apply online for any of the services by completing the online form below.

Services Available

• Long term Care and Support

  Family based care and support. A person lives with the Shared Lives Carer and shares the same experiences of any normal family environment.

• Short Breaks / Respite

  Where a person stays with a shared lives carer for a holiday; weekend or overnight stay. This may be a planned arrangement or during an emergency.  

• Home to Home

  Shared lives can be part of the circle of support for service user's or family living in their own homes for a few hours a week and/or respite stays.
  We can support individuals to:

• Increase or retain levels of independence
• Access the community
• Budget
• Learn life skills
• Enjoy community facilities
• Respite / support for family carers
  
  We strive to support people with what they need at the time they need it.
