Provision in the Wyre Forest

 

 Current Status

Blakebrook and Stourminster Schools officially close on the 31st August 2011 and the new Wyre Forest School starts from the 1st September 2011. The date for when the pupils start at the new school will be published by the school itself. The new school will continue to operate from the existing sites whilst the new accommodation is developed.

1st September 2013 Weekly Boarding Provision opens on Habberley Campus
August 2014 Wyre Forest School transfers to new accommodation on Habberley Learning Village
September 2014 Pupils start in new accommodation.

 Weekly Boarding Provision

At the County Council meeting of 16 September 2010, the Cabinet agreed to the proscribed alteration to the new Wyre Forest Community School to create a 16 -bed, term time only, weekly boarding provision. View the letter sent to all consultees (PDF). 

A modification to the proposal has been approved so that planning permission can be incorporated into the permission for the whole site. A letter has been sent to all consultees explaining this. Letter to consultees July 2011 (PDF 46 KB)
