Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Welcome to the 2011-2012 Continuing Professional Development programme for the Children's Workforce in Schools. Included in this document is an outline of the new School Improvement Service Level Agreement (SLA), soon to be received in schools, which explains how schools can access support from the Local Authority.

As you will see from this document, we have changed the emphasis of our planned support towards individual schools, clusters and networks. You will also see a growing number of 'partnerships' emerging, and we will continue to develop this area of work over the coming months.

We have published the full programme of centrally delivered courses on Edulink at https://www.edulink.networcs.net.  You can access this information via the Calendar or by using the browser which sorts courses into curriculum area. Course reminders will also be sent out regularly, so keep an eye out for them by email!
