Worcestershire Safeguarding Children Board (WSCB) Training
Programme 2012
WSCB aims to ensure that all those working with children and
young people and their families are aware of their role and
responsibilities in safeguarding children and young people.
It is important that everyone works effectively
together to prevent child abuse and neglect and to protect those
children and young people who have experienced, or are at risk of,
abuse and neglect.
Details of the WSCB training pathway are provided below and
contain information about the 8 levels of training recomended by
Government. A short guide to the pathway is available for download
here
(PDF 153 KB).
Staff and volunteers working for WSCB member agencies can
access inter-agency training via their organisation's nominating
manager. This guidance also provides details of how this training
can be purchased.
