It is recommended that children and young people take at least 60 minutes moderate exercise per day.  Walking with children can incorporated this into the day by:

  • Mapping/ Walking routes to school
  • Park and Stride
  • Riders and Striders
  • School Crossing Patrol
  • Walking buses
  • Walk to school week
  • Walk once a week
