1. How do I join the Worcestershire Viewpoint?

What happens to the survey after I complete and return
it?
The survey forms are returned to use through the prepaid
envelopes provided and via an email for those completed online. The
postal surveys and data inputted and combined with the online
responses. The data is then weighted accordingly and the results
are analysed by the Research & Intelligence Unit at
Worcestershire County Council. The final analysis of results is
made available to partner organisations and published here on this
website.
Comments made to the final question in the survey are sorted by
service area and distributed to the corresponding people to be
actioned where appropriate.
A summary of the results is included in the next survey
detailing what actions have be taken as a result of the responses
received to the last Worcestershire Viewpoint survey.

Where can I view the results?
The results of the Worcestershire Viewpoint will be made
available online shortly after a survey has been conducted. A
summary of the results will also be sent to all Worcestershire
Viewpoint Panel members in the next survey.

Are there restrictions on becoming a member?
Members of the Worcestershire Viewpoint should be aged 18 and
over currently reside within Worcestershire.
5. How are the responses collected?
Surveys can be completed by both paper and online
surveys.

How long does it take to fill in the survey?
We aim to keep the Worcestershire Viewpoint survey concise
and under 15 pages. Time to complete will vary from person to
person but should take no longer than 20 minutes.
7.
What are the results used for and will it really make a
difference?
After the surveys are collected and a detailed analysis has been
produced, the results are used by all Worcestershire
Viewpoint partners to help plan future policies and
services and measure performance. The results will also be
used to inform future strategies.

partners?

How will my details be used by Worcestershire County Council and
its partners?
All panel member's details are treated confidentially and the
results do not identify any individuals. The details are only used
for contacting panel members with a survey or for contacting the
prize draw winners.
10: How do I leave the Worcestershire Viewpoint panel if
I no longer wish to participate?
We do refresh the panel from time to time and
residents generally remain on the panel for around three years. If
at any time you want your details removed from the panel you can
email viewpoint@worcestershire.gov.uk
or telephone Claire Bloss on 01905 822020 with your name and
address details.
