Worcestershire Strategic Housing Market Assessment

The Worcestershire Local Authorities commissioned GVA and Edge Analytics to prepare a Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) which was published in February 2012. The SHMA report will replace the previously produced 2007 SHMA for the South Housing Market Area for the West Midlands. Where possible the findings were presented in the context of previous research and subsequent annual updates.

Previous Strategic Housing Market Assessment

The first Strategic Housing Market Assessment was produced for the South Housing Market Area, a sub-region of the West Midlands, consisting of 8 Local Authorities; Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Redditch, Worcester City, Wychavon and Wyre Forest in Worcestershire, and Stratford-on-Avon and Warwick in South Warwickshire.
