Local Economic Assessment

The Worcestershire Local Economic
Assessment provides the public sector, Local Enterprise
Partnership, businesses, and the voluntary and community sector
with a comprehensive picture of local economic conditions. It
contains key evidence, information and intelligence to inform
decisions that affect the local economy.
Over time we have changed the way we have
produced the LEA, from annually printed hard-copy documents, to the
current version which is fully web-based. This change means
we can provide more timely economic data and intelligence to
support sustainable economic growth and improve prosperity in the
county.
The LEA is now a 'living' document, which
means it:
- is updated as new data are released
- allows us to undertake more detailed analyses of priority
topics and to add to the document as new work is completed
- is easier to copy and paste text and charts directly from the
webpages into MS Word, to support funding bids and policy
documents
- is easier to navigate and to find the information you
require
- allows you to download charts and data in excel format so
that you can undertake further analysis
