Labour Market Profiles
The local authority profiles bring together data from a range of
official sources including population estimates, Annual Population
Survey, Jobseekers Allowance claimants, Annual Survey of Hours and
Earnings (ASHE) and VAT registrations. Limited non-confidential
Annual Business Inquiry data is also available without the need for
a Chancellor of Exchequer's Notice.
The profiles are taken directly from the main Nomis database so
we will be able to upload new profiles as they become available
There is also a definitions section at the end of the report which
provides an explanation of the sources used along with definitions
of variables.
