Birth Certificates
You can obtain a certifited copy of a birth
certificate only for events which took place in the county of
Worcestershire District, as it stands today.

Long Birth Certificate
A long certificate provides full name, date of birth, place of
birth, parent's details and occupation and is suitable as proof of
ID for passport applications, building society and bank
accounts

Short Birth Certificate
A short certificate provides full name, date of birth and place of
birth but may not be suitable as proof of ID for services such as
passport applications, building society or bank accounts.
Please check with your service provider first as to whether a short
or long certificate is required (If in doubt we recommend choosing
the 'Long Certificate' option)
