Strategic Projects 

Strategic Projects is a small group set up to help support the achievement of the County Councils strategic objectives through the effective management of major, high-value projects and through supporting the approach to project management across the Authority.

Our Role is to:

• Project manage high value, complex projects that span multiple partners.
• Lead on PFI procurement projects for the Authority.
• Ensure high quality design and environmental performance is achieved in the PFI process.
• Oversee the Council's approach to project management to ensure the Authority is equipped to deliver change.
• Support those involved in projects and help to develop project management skills within the authority.

Our Latest Projects

• The Hive Project (Worcester Library and History Centre)
  A groundbreaking partnership development to create a fully integrated public and university library, which will be completely new to the UK and highly innovative internationally.
• Bromsgrove Town Regeneration
  The regeneration and revitalisation of the town centre of Bromsgrove 
• Worcestershires Capital and Asset Pathfinder Programme
  The Worcestershire Capital and Asset Pathfinder work aims to identify and deliver sustainable and efficient cross-agency property management solutions, to support the transformation of service delivery within Worcestershire.
