Insulation Projects
A new addition to the Spend to Save
scheme is the inclusion of low cost insulation (cavity walls and
roofing) and draught proofing projects, above £500.
The process for apply for
funding for self orgnaised insulation and draught
proofing projects (not below £500), is detailed below:
- Site send in quotation along with
completed
Spend to Save Application Form - Self
Organised (Excel 448KB) - to nhughes@worcestershire.gov.uk.
A payback period of 4 years is assigned to insulation projects and
3 years for draught proofing.
- If approved, the Spend to Save form is
then returned to the site confirming whether funding has been
awarded from the Spend to Save fund.
- When the work is completed, the site
sends the contractors' invoices to nhughes@worcestershire.gov.uk
together with the signed off* Spend to Save form.
- The site payback the savings
until the payback period has elapsed
*We will require the signature of the budget
holder who is agreeing to fund the repayment out of savings in
their energy bill.
