Valuation and Estates Management
Property purchases and sales, leases and rent reviews,
compensation negotiations, easements and way leaves, valuations for
the Asset Register, insurance and business rates purposes.
Searches for new premises for County uses. Management of all let
property including Caretakers Housing.

Register your Interest in or enquire about a specific property
which you believe to be surplus to Council needs by emailing the
Estates Group.

The County Farms Estate
Management of the County's 100 farms and smallholdings, which
extend to 3860 acres. The Council works with its tenants to
encourage diversification and environmental works alongside
farming. The estate seeks development opportunities and
undertakes targeted sales to help fund the County Council's
building programme.
Land is also made available for new school building, Housing
Association schemes and community uses, when appropriate.
Advice is given to the Council on rural matters generally.
