As part of the County Council's wider 'Open for Business'
agenda, we are updating our Planning Validation Document www.worcestershire.gov.uk/planningconsultation.
This will enable us to accept and validate planning applications in
a more timely and efficient manner, thereby reducing delays that
would otherwise occur in the processing of applications. This will
provide applicants and their agents with guidance on the
information required by us when submitting a planning application.
If an applicant fails to submit an application in accordance with
the requirements set out in the Validation Document we will be
entitled to declare the application invalid.
The consultation on the Draft Planning Validation Document runs
from 18 June until 30 July 2014
Further details on Draft Validation Document Consultation are
available on the Planning Consultations webpage www.worcestershire.gov.uk/planningconsultation.
